Michelle's Life in La-La Land

Today I had so-called "Soul food" for dinner.
When Dave suggested to eat soul food, I really had no idea what it meant. He explained that
it's southern style food... fat food... such as fried chicken.... Oh I finally realized.... just as "Soul Music"...It's that kind of food black people usually eat....

The restaurant we went was Roscoe's House of Chicken 'n' Waffles
That place is really very black.... Almost all customers are black, except one or two table of Asians and one table of whites. I didn't mean to have racial discrimination. It's just a culture. It's great to experience different food and different life style.

OK. The food they serve is two pieces of glazed fired chicken and two waffles. Chicken is OK because i think no fried chicken is better than KFC Taiwan. Their waffle is pretty good. Of course butter and syrup help. I think the fatter the tastier.
