畢業七個月了
好久沒有這樣連續坐在電腦前5.6個小時動都不動的做報告
哎即使還在學校時也是坐沒多久就起來開冰箱吃吃喝喝東摸西摸
從沒如此專注過
這兩三天來大概加起來已經花了15個小時以上
希望明天能好好表現
還是好緊張喔
加油加油

人有欲望跟恐懼
所以有詐騙集團的存在

早期流行的金光黨
利用的是人們的貪念

現實的世界是結果論的

即使大家再怎麼強調過程的美好和從過程中學習的重要
但我們在衡量人或事的時候
很難不用這個最快最直接的方式--結果(也就是事或人目前呈現出來的樣貌)

 When reading the news about Microsoft's new MP3 player -Zune, I saw the title "The grinches that stole Zune's Christmas."   I didn't understand what "grinch" was and tried to look it up in the dictionary, but I couldn't find it.   
After asking Kermit and looking at Wikipedia, I realized "How the grinch stole Christmas!" is one of the best-known children's book.  So everyone knows this term naturally.  
Sigh... This incident reminded me again how different my cultural background is and the challenges of getting a marketing job here....  

一直覺得要好好學習leadership/management
因此不能把所有的事情都自己攬來做
要試著學習motivate別人.學習管人而不是管事
但是真的好難
定時follow-up並offer assistance

Since school started, I haven't really done anything a good student should do.
This week is the 1st week that I don't have any events to worry about...
(though I still need to worry about the upcoming things and some internal structural problems....)
But those exams and project deadlines are around the corner.
I really need to study!

3 major events last week:
New Board Member Election
1) Didn't carefully read through every letter of intent
2) Didn't carefully review my emails before sending out
International Mixer

今天是GABS第一次的正式event -- Kick-off meeting
第一次這樣帶著我依舊破爛的英文主導全場...
ㄜ~~ 說不緊張是騙人的....
雖然說presentation 只要練習就OK...但在現場總是忍不住就這邊多講一點那邊多講一點

轉眼間在J＆J的第三個禮拜已經快過完了
前兩個禮拜由於剛搬到台北
想見見很多許久不見的朋友
幾乎每天晚上都約了不同的朋友吃飯

從申請學校到找工作
陸續以來的面試雖然並不是每個都很順利
但還真沒像今天這麼慘過
今天要見得兩個人
